The Singapore-based Crypto lender Hodlnaut has halted withdrawals, token swaps and deposits for its users citing ‘market conditions.


Hodlnaut has also notified the Monetary Authority of Singapore that it is withdrawing its license application related to regulated digital payment tokens.

The US Treasury of Foreign Assets Control sanctioned the on-chain privacy network cryptocurrency mixer, Tornado Cash.


According to a press release, the Treasury is sanctioning Tornado Cash as they’ve been involved in “laundering the proceeds of cybercrimes”.


Tornado Cash has laundered over $7 billion worth of crypto since 2019 which includes more than $455 million stolen by North Korean hackers Lazarus Group.

Crypto.com recently unveiled the acquisition of payment provider PnkLink Co. and OK-Bit Co., a digital asset exchange as part of its plan to expand into South Korea.


Crypto.com has also announced that they have secured the acquisition of the Electronic Financial Transaction Act (EFTA) and Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) registration in South Korea.
